It is officially FALL!
We will have beautiful fall flowering mums at Carousel Watergardens Farm Market this Saturday September 24th from 9a.m. – 12 pm . We are set up in the parking lot of the Glenwood United Methodist Church at 2833 Valleyview Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43204. We are located at the corner of Hague & Valleyview Drive, just look for our big gray market trailer.
Fresh produce ready this week from our farm includes limited amount of green zucchini, green beans & yellow wax beans, a limited amount of tomatoes, kale, broccoli, jalapeno, serrano, habanero, ghost, reaper and hot wax peppers. Our sweet peppers include sweet banana, bell peppers, lunch box peppers, mini bell peppers, Jimmy Nardello peppers, eggplant, candy onions, white & purple cauliflower, green & red cabbage, grape tomatoes, carrots, along with our yellow & red potatoes, red & yellow onions, garlic and sweet potatoes. We will have some pumpkins available this week we will be harvesting more of our pumpkins and specialty fall items next week
Try our pantry-fare items such as jams, jellies, popcorn, herb dips, rubs & seasonings and our fresh ground oat & wheat flour. With the cooler temperatures try one of our wonderful hearty soup mixes to warm you up they are great for tailgate parties too! We will have our pure natural honey, honey comb and honey sticks and don’t forget to pick up your farm fresh CSA eggs and ground beef. Browse our “Reflections by CAR” line of stationary of cards depicting scenic, rural, farm, nature & animals. Our mums are sure to put you in the fall mood so be sure to check out the beautiful fall mums at our market this Saturday.
We will be harvesting our pumpkins and gourds this coming week so next week we will have those available. With the cool temperatures our summer produce will be going down quickly but we are in the middle of harvesting our delicious fall crops of winter squash and other fall vegetables and will have them next week too!
